The basketball match final of our school was held on the noon of May 24th. In the past few weeks, class 1 in the automation department and class 3 in the department of power engineering have fought straightly into the finals for the championship.

These two teams are made up of new players who are among the best in the tryouts. The competition was so fierce that all the audiences cheered for the fighters. At the beginning of the game, players from class 1 found the rival’s flaws and got ahead of the game. While, class 3 was unwilling to fall behind, they scored sixth to narrow the gap.  

 

After a short rest, class 3 kept chasing that their fantastic performances left deep impression on audiences. Then the second half began, both teams were to spare no efforts to win. Class 3 tried hard to keep up with the competitors. Unfortunately, at last class 3 still failed, and class 1 won the game by the score of 28 to 22.  

The competition provides a chance for students to communicate with each other, enhance friendship, and make more students to participate in physical activities. The spirit of “new campus life” has shown vividly in the game. Let’s congratulate the winner and look forward to see more new faces in the future competitions.
