At 6:30 P.M. , September the 5th, the parents’ meeting for freshmen of our school was held in the lecture hall successfully, some leaders and teachers attended the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, Professor Zhang delivered a splendid lecture titled “Caring about students’ mental health”, which won warm applause. The lecture was given by Ms. Zhang emphasized that the change of life role and family education would influence student’s development after they entered the university. Then, in order to help them better adapt to the role change after they become a college student, a profound relationship analysis was made between students and their parents. Since different environments will lead to different psychological problems, only by working together can the school and parents help students adapt to the new environment.
Afterwards, the dean of our school delivered a speech. On sharing the child-rearing experience of his own children, Liu Sheng put forward some opinions and suggestions on how to educate children. Then Mr. Liu emphatically presented the bright future the students would own by learning different majors in our School, and he hoped that there would be more talented persons to help build our school in the near future.
After Mr. Liu’s speech, the Vice Dean Zhuan Xiangtao carried out a speech mainly focused on the undergraduate education and how to cultivate students' good study habit. Finally, Wang Siming, the Deputy Secretary of Party committee in our school made a conclusion.
Mr. Wang’s speech brought the meeting to a perfect end. There’s no doubt that our university will become more beautiful after the injection of these fresh blood.
