(Du Haochen) On Apr. 21st, students from our school held an interesting activity to chase the footstep of spring. They drew the most beautiful pictures they can think of on the kites, and then they let kites fly with their youth and dreams.
It took more than a week to prepare kites, and each of them had been worked by almost 3 students. It had been proposed to draw anything to show the magnificent sight of our Motherland as well as the rapid development scene of the society. On the morning of Apr. 21st, students gathered in the classroom with unpainted kites in their hand for the competition only allowed students to complete drawing in 2 hours.
In the afternoon, students finished their work and ran to the playground. The kites in their hands were no longer blank, which were colored with beautiful drawings, like Great Wall, Three Gorges Dam, and Mount Everest, etc.. Students used their pens to express their deep love for our motherland. The playground was filled with laugh and joys during the whole afternoon.
Through the activity, students learned that we should spare no effort to make our country more beautiful and stronger with a grateful heart.
