While everyone is enjoying the colorful campus life, mid-term examination came as scheduled. This is the exact chance for students to find out their superiorities and inferiorities clearly. After the exam, many students started to review their studying progress, while some gathered together to exchange experiences about studying.
The mid-term exam is mainly about consolidating knowledge which students learned in the first half semester, therefore it attached more importance to basic knowledge. Through communicating and self-examination, students found two main problems. The first one is the learning state in class. Students put forward a phenomenon that many of them couldn’t resist the temptation of mobile-phones, which led to the decrease of learning efficiency and low concentration. The vicious circle would finally cause them the lack of basic knowledge.
The other one is lacking time for reviewing new knowledge after-class. A few students mentioned about too much community activities which took up almost all of their spare time, while some students were ashamed to admit that actually it was the computer games which kept them away from the library.
After some heated discussion, and consulting experiences from teachers and senior students, students found out more efficient plans to improve themselves. Some lacking self-control decide not to bring mobile-phone with them in class, in order to focus more on the lessons. Others seek for help from their friends, who would urge them to spend more time studying. With studying plans settled, everyone is ready to work much more harder to pursue their own goal. They are all looking forward to a better achievement in the final exam.
