About the Lecturer

Bingqian Xu, a professor at the University of Georgia, specializes in nano/single molecule electronics, biomonolayer identification, biomolecule (DNA and protein) structure and properties, and has made outstanding achievements. He has published more than 80 research papers on internationally renowned journals (Science, Nature Chem., JACS, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., etc). Professor Bingqian Xu is one of the founders of the STM break junction technology (Science 2003), which has been widely used in the study of properties such as single-molecule electrical properties.
