About the lecturer:
Professor Jian Pei graduated from Peking University in 1995 with a Ph.D. From 1995-1997, he studied for his post-doctoral research at the Department of Chemistry, National University of Singapore, From 1997 to 1998, he was an associate researcher at the Singapore Institute of Materials and Engineering. His research interests were organic optoelectronic materials. From 1998 to 2000, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Organic Solids and Polymers, University of California. Since 2005, he has been a professor at the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at Peking University. In 2012, it was appointed as the Minister of Education, Jiang Scholar Distinguished Professor.
So far, he has published more than 240 papers in international academic journals, and the citation rate of others has been more than 10,000 times, and the H factor is 60. In the international academic exchange activities, he was invited to report more than 30 times at the annual meeting of the American Chemical Society, the International Association of Materials Research and the International Conference on Synthetic Metals, and served as the chairman of the international conference or branch. His research interests and areas include organic electronics materials and devices (including: organic field effect transistors, organic solar cells, organic light-emitting diodes, optical waveguide devices, etc.); supramolecular chemistry.etc.
