Key Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry for Biology and Medicine was founded by Ministry of Education in 2008 in Wuhan University, based on National Dey Discipline “Analytical Chemistry” and the Science Fund for Creative Research Groups of the NSFC.

The Lab is devoted to developing versatile, multifunctional analytical chemistry platform for biology and medicine, via fundamental research on novel analytical principles and methods, applied basic research on clinical diagnosis relevant to biomedical analysis and clinical diagnosis, as well as development of innovative analytical instrumentations. The major research activities of the Lab currently covers 4 directions, including:

l Bioseparation and bioanalysis

l Biodetection reagents and bioprobes

l Analytical instruments and set-ups

l Bioimaging and biotracking

The Lab is striving to develop an active, innovative, and collaborative interdisciplinary institute for scientific research and talents cultivation.
