Sauvage Center for Molecular Science of Wuhan University

Sauvage Center for Molecular Sciencs of Wuhan University was officially set up on April 11th, 2019, which is the first research institution named after the Nobel Prize winner in Wuhan University.


The Centre now has 20 permanent staff, with professor Jean-Pierre Sauvage as the foreign director and professor Zhen Li as the Chinese director. The center will target at molecular science issues and the relevant key technologies, doing research in fields including molecular synthesis, molecular property characterization, molecular aggregation behavior regulation as well as optoelectronic devices, bioimaging and disease diagnosis and treatment, and also industrialization of new materials.
