On March 26th, the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) notified us that EMS(Economics and Management School of Wuhan University) has been officially recognized and awarded to the EQUIS three-year reaccreditation through the internal review and voting of the accreditation committee.
EMS of Wuhan University obtained the EQUIS three-year accreditation in 2016, and applied for reaccreditation in March 2018. From January 15 to 17, 2019, the EQUIS peer review team visited our school to conduct the on-site accreditation review. The review team, including Professor Rebecca Taylor, Vice President of the University of Southampton, UK and CEO of the University of Southampton, Malaysia, Professor Konstantin Krotov, Dean of the Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg University, Russia, Professor Ye Jianming, Dean of School of Management of Xiamen University, and the Former IBM France Country General Manager Deputy Mr. Jacques Delplancq, and other EQUIS on-site accreditation experts came to school to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the School of Economics and Management. During the three-day on-site accreditation, the expert team conducted a comprehensive review of the school's management and development strategies, degree programs, faculty and students, research, resource allocation, internationalization, corporate connections, and social responsibility.
After 12 seminars and field trips to relevant teaching facilities and resources, the experts gave a high evaluation to our university, and affirmed the good reputation and profound historical and cultural heritage of our university and the School of Economics and Management. The school's excellent faculty and students, standardized teaching and management order, and high-level alumni resources were also highly praised.
