National Research Center for Cultural and Fiscal Policy Set up in WHU

On the morning of June 16, the National Research Center for Cultural and Fiscal Policy was officially set up by the Ministry of Culture of PRC in WHU. The research center is intended to build a platform for the scholars from universities and research institutes, the policy-makers from the government bodies and the practitioners of social and cultural cause.

The research center will provide valuable theoretical prop and practical exploration for the formulation of public fiscal policies that adapt to the rapid development of the social and cultural cause in China.

Fu Caiwu, Director of the Centre for National Cultural Innovation Studies at WHU who is in charge of this newly established research center says this center aims to build itself into an assessment center and professional think tank for the national public cultural policies. He believes the National Research Center for Cultural and Fiscal Policy will become a first-class research institute and a platform of international exchange.
