ROK’s Ambassador to China Visited WHU

On the afternoon of June 8, Lee Kyu-hyung, the ambassador of Republic of Korea (ROK) to China, visited Wuhan University and gave a speech.

After a courtesy meeting with vice-President Zhou Chuangbing in the VIP room of School of Economics and Management, Lee Kyu-hyung delivered a speech in the next-door lecture hall titled “Sino-Korean Relations and Central China,” envisaging prospective strategic cooperation between China and South Korea in the framework of “two-oriented” (resource-conserving and environment-friendly) society and “the rise of central China” strategy, and afterwards he took questions from the audience.

 

 

After the speech, President Li Xiaohong met with Lee Kyu-hyung in the administrative building, where they exchanged views on such topics as how to encourage personnel exchange and promote bilateral relations between China and South Korea.
