At 9 o'clock on the morning of May 19, 2011, Vice President for International Affairs, Prof. Zhou Chuangbing had a face-to-face meeting with Duke University Provost Peter Lang, Executive Vice Provost James Roberts, Vice President for Human Resources Kyle Cavanaugh and etc. through Polycom video conference system in the International Office. The two parties had very open discussion on the agenda as the latest progress of the joint venture by two universities and the visit by Duke President Brodhead in the coming late June. The meeting was successful and productive.
Different from past, this is the first time that WHU used video conference system to have a meeting with Duke University. By means of video through the Internet, WHU can keep face-to-face contact with international institutions of higher education in a more straightforward, efficient and economic way.
