Throughout it, WHUers told the stories of contemporary youth who pursue their dreams and contribute to the country.
The performance by the School of Literature reenacted the story of WHUers at the Antarctic Pole. It showed a teacher passing an ordinary pen to his student, which was to give him bravery and constant energy to overcome the hostile environment.
The actors also expressed their ideas and thoughts about the dilemma and confusion of college students through creative forms, gaining laughter and applause from the audience.
‘Sta rs’, presented by the School of Public Health, reminded us that everyone is a unique star, encouraging us to enjoy our youth and explore our potential, shining brightly in our own corner of the sky.
The actors from the School of Law acted out a heroic story that happened in Luojia Mountain in the past, honoring and passing down the spirit of our ancestors.
In the performance, a student time-traveled from the year 2024 to the era of the War of Resistance against Japan, where he encountered the then students and teachers of Wuhan University. They entrusted him with a jade bracelet bearing crucial messages before sacrificing himself. After returning to 2024, he dedicated himself to spreading the story of these heroes and passing on their spirit.
Students from the Economic and Management School performed a story conveying a powerful message about trafficked children, leaving the audience deeply moved. The performance began with a pure and lovely princess dancing on stage. However, as the background music intensified, a couple rushed through the audience, crying for help in searching for their lost child. It was then that the audience realized that the story was just a dream imagined by a trafficked child, casting a heartbreaking light on the reality of their situation.
The last performance was staged by the School of Political Science and Public Administration. The story unfolded in a puppet factory, where all the workers were bound to do repetitive and monotonous work, losing their individuality and dreams. Suddenly, a group of puppets in the factory volunteered to hold an arts festival, the Golden Autumn Drama of Luojia.
In the end, all the performers expressed their passion for the Golden Autumn Drama Festival As the stage lights dimmed, the theatrical feast came to a close, but the theater dream of Luojia Mountain lives on in everyone’s heart.
