On the afternoon of May 20th, Mr. Tang Liangzhi, Mayor of Wuhan Municipality, visited WHU for investigation and held a seminar. He stressed, to serve WHU is to promote Wuhan.As he promised, the municipal government was obliged to facilitate WHU’s development and would try its utmost to help improve the surrounding environment of WHU and support WHU in its construction and development.

Li Jian, Chair of the University Council, Li Xiaohong, President of WHU and all the university leaders present on campus participated in the field investigation. Deputy Mayor Sun Ya, Secretary-general of the municipal government Long Zhengcai and Assistant Secretary-general Liu Jiaxiang accompanied Mayor Tang Liangzhi.

Li Jian hosted the seminar. He thanked the municipal government for its strong support in WHU’s development. He promised that WHU would make greater contribution to Wuhan’s great leap forward during the 12th Five Year Plan Period.
