Lovelist of trees, the cherry now

Is hung with bloom

along the bough.

A blizzard of petals rushing the sky

And stands about the woodland ride.

It looks like the incarnation of lovely fairy

Wearing white for the Cherry Blossom Festival.

I look up to see

range upon range of blossoms.

It is only March.

The moon, already pacing.

I can't stop my own life

for taking refuge

To see the cherry hung with snow.
