On March 28^th, the Science and Technology Department of Hubei Province held the achievement evaluation meeting of “Construction Method and Technology of Trusted Software” jointly developed by Wuhan University and Tianjin University in WHU’s Computer School.

The members of the Evaluation Committee listened carefully to the technology reports delivered by the project leader, Professor He Yanxiang, reviewed the related evaluation materials, and watched the system demonstration on the scene. After a series of interpellation and discussion, the committee gave approval to the achievement’s evaluation. According to the committee, the project is distinctive and can be applied in various fields with positive outcomes for the prospective economic benefit. Thus, technology reaches the desired international advanced level. Among those achievements, multi-view and software behavior based requirements modeling and verification, compiler optimization method to balance the loss of computer modules and so on, give prominence to innovation, standing out among other high ranking achievements.

The evaluation members include Academician Chen Guoliang from University of Science and Technology of China, Academician Zhou Chaochen from Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Science, Professor Wang Huaiming from National University of Defense Technology, who is also the Yangtze River Scholar Professor and the receiver of National Outstanding Young Investigator Fund, Professor Feng Dan from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, who is the chief scientist of 973 program and the receiver of National Outstanding Young Investigator Fund, Professor ZhongLuo, Dean of Computer School of Wuhan University of Technology, Professor He Tingting, Dean of Computer School of Central China Normal University, Professor Liu Tenghong, Dean of Information Security and Management School of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.
