WHU students engaged in promoting China-Japan Friendship

On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the normalization of the China-Japan diplomatic relations, five students (DING Chang, LIU Zhinan,YAN Zhehao, ZHANG Yujie and ZHANG Yiwen) from the Economics and Management School, Wuhan University were selected to attend “Japan-China Planting Tree International Joint Program” in Japan from 25th Oct. to 1th Nov.. The activity was organized by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC).

 

During the eight days of visit, students had listened to environment protection and disaster prevention lectures, visited companies and taken part in the tree planting to gain more knowledge of Japan from their own perspective.

 

 

The delegation first visited the Mitsubishi Tokyo UFJ Bank, Sunamachi Water Disposal Center and Osaka Tsunami Prevention Center, they were provided to understand the current state of Japanese representative financial institutions and rich knowledge of environment protecting and disaster preventing. They also meet students from Hosei University, Nihon University and Sophia University to share their ideas and thoughts about the politics, economies and cultures of the two countries to better understand each other. At the end the delegation planted an orange tree which was as a symbol of the friendship between China and Japan.
