(Reporter: Yijia Sun, Jiahui Cheng) On May 18th and 19th, 2019, the 18th national college robot competition in the southern competition area was held in Liuzhou, Guangxi. Wuhan university robot team successfully won the championship after beating strong opponents, which made a great achievement for the improvement of our school's scientific and technological innovation.

The theme of the race is "spurring on the flying horse", which requires two robots to eventually reach the top of the mountain by passing tokens. Our team has prepared for a whole year to finish the model after testing and modifying day and night with all the efforts of teachers and students.

In the semifinal, our team defeated others to reach the final, in which our opponent is the team from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. In the night before the test, our team members adjusted themselves for tomorrow’s challenge. By working together to seize each second, our robot reached the destination only by 25seconds. With warm applause and fluttering flag of Wuhan University, we won the championship.

It is reported that all the competitors in our school not only obtained excellent results, but also learned the importance of teamwork. At the same time, the competition also attracted numerous news media to report the event like CCTV, China News, etc., which fully demonstrated the innovation ability of students in our school. We look forward to further success in the National robot competition！
