There are dozens of different cherry blossom tree varieties in WHU, most of which bloom for just a couple of days in the spring; but surprisingly, the cherry trees in WHU campus suddenly bloomed these days. What most surprises us is that it‘s still autumn right now. The green leaves and white blossom paint a unique picture. But why are we witnessing such a unique scene in autumn? According to the specialist, it’s due to the freakish weather. Suffering from the heavy rain and the high temperature, most of the leaves on the cherry trees fell off. It was little cold a while ago, so as it gets warmer these days, the cherry trees begins to blossom as if spring is coming.
