On October 28th, after a short visit to the Ministry of Education in Beijing, the vice presidents of University of Dundee, Karl Leydecker and Wendy Alexander with their colleagues arrived at Wuhan University. The delegates had an in-depth exchange of views on WHU-Dundee architecture cooperative education program with WHU counterparts. WHU vice-president Tan Guangming received the delegation.

WHU and Dundee shared the view that it’s significant and beneficial to launch cooperation programs and discussed on specific issues such as education plan, students’ accommodations and tuition in detail.Both sides agree to expand the cooperation to other fields such as hydraulics, civil engineering and so on. Later at the welcome meeting, WHU vice-president Professor Tan Guangming addressed the delegates that the success of WHU-Dundee joint educational program in architectural studies laid a solid foundation for further cooperation between two sides and WHU would fully support its substantial cooperation with Dundee. Vice-president Wendy Alexander and Karl Leydecker also highly appreciated that the cooperative education program has made commendable progress. Both Dundee and WHU should maximize their advantages to push the cooperation program forward. And they very much look forward to the next cooperative program in civil engineering with WHU.
The University of Dundee is a public research university based in the city and Royal burgh of Dundee on the east coast of the central Lowlands of Scotland. It is consistently ranked within the Top 250 universities in the world, with some subjects ranking Top 100. It is also in the list of 39 élite UK universities, which includes the 22 non-Oxbridge universities of the Russell Group.
WHU-Dundee cooperation dates back to 2003,.when Dundee sent delegation to WHU’s 110’s anniversary ceremony and signed official cooperation agreement, since then the cooperation on law, computer science and civil engineering between two universities have progressed smoothly.
