On November 19, 2022, the Dance Competition of the 34th Luojia Golden Autumn was held at the Student Activity Center of the Information School.
Together, we enjoyed this endless night, watching the graceful dance steps approaching, like whirling notes, playing through the colorful hall. The dancers of Luojia came with the winds of the times, performing under the shining spotlights, with the charm of youth, giving autumn a grand finale.
In Echoes of Life, when the first bud of spring bursts out from the withered branches, when the parched land tastes the first heavy rains of early summer, when the birds' chirping breaks the silence of winter, and when the fish sway their tails and shake the floating ice, the ancient culture is reborn along the water sleeves with the dance steps and songs, reaching people's hearts.
The laughter of the Dai girls echoes among the mountains, and the mountains tremble with emotion. The audience became intoxicated, akin to birds in the mountains, while the morning dew and spring water resembled the fine wine in their cups.
In Tracing Back, the fluttering fan dance reveals the first rays of dawn through the plain silk. The drumbeats and bass lines are like the undercurrents beneath the water, accumulating the power of life from the unknown.
The mountains as dark as ink, serve as a memory of every Chinese child, and the meandering rivers are the shared cultural genes. Is it a landscape? Every inch of the dancing space is injecting the boldness of poetry into the picturesque scenery, showing the budding youth with the sprouting plants.
In On the Water's Edge, the reeds are lush, and the white dew turns to frost. A woman in memory, with cloud-like hair and a flowery face, steps lightly, appearing and disappearing among the reeds.
In Jasmine Blooms, the pure and fragrant jasmine drifts gently, not competing or grabbing, still rich and fragrant. Holding a wooden umbrella, picking jasmine, people appreciate the perfect season for flowers to bloom, with fragrance filling the garden in autumn.
Amidst the fluttering of ten thousand butterflies, there is boundless vitality, dazzling youth, on an endless journey of pursuit and discovery. In everyone's heart, it is wonderful to step on the lively rhythm and dance freely like a butterfly.
Rosy clouds grace us with a lotus silk skirt, and the Qingzhou steps pick up the orchid spring. Today's feast begins, and we invite each other to drink; in the jade tower and golden palace, we get drunk in the present moment.
In Mother of the Soviet Area, the audience travels back to 1933 to meet an ordinary yet great mother in the southern Jiangxi Soviet Area, feeling her reluctance and determination to send her son to the army, her hopeful longing for his return, and her deep concern for the country.
The Communist Party of China removes the heavy burden from the Yi people, giving life to a profound friendship between the Party and the Yi people. Together, we look forward to unraveling the scarf and bridging the seeming divide.
What color should represent our youth? Are they passionate red, bright yellow, or fresh green? In Hello! Youth, on the long journey, we hold high the torch of youth; in the vast times, we shed the sweat of youth.
Every single day we fail to dance is a betrayal of life.
Luojia Hill will wait for the next full moon, when the swaying shadows of the osmanthus trees will be written at its foot. The clothes will flutter, and the swaying shadows will be cut out-we will meet again.
