As one of the series of activities to celebrate the 130th birthday of Wuhan University, the Luojia Golden Autumn International Cultural Festival was held at Guiyuan Playground on November 18 and 19. The event also marked the resumption of the International Cultural Festival, which had been last held in 2019. Overseas students from more than 70 countries participated in the festival. During the fashion show, students from Pakistan proudly showcased their traditional costumes and national flag.

At the China booth, participants had prepared many exquisite handiwork printed with poems and passages written in classical Chinese, setting a new trend among overseas students.

The festival provided many opportunities for students from different countries to communicate with each other and learn more about other countries. In this heartwarming photo, a Chinese boy captures a moment with his new Spanish friend.

    Apart from the 70 designated country booths, talented students also arranged many attractive performances on stage such as a puppet show, thus offering insights into their unique cultures.

Carefully prepared by the organizer, the festival passport became a hit among visitors, who viewed it as a distinctive souvenir. The student captured in the picture above was carefully checking her passport to make sure she had finished collecting all seals.

From scarves to typical decoration, the hosts displayed many distinctive handicrafts from their countries. This student from Uganda was introducing her country and culture while visitors collected seals and picking delicate objects from the booth.

Featuring a mini world expo, vivid and colorful performances, culinary exchanges, as well as a number of cultural experience activities, the cultural festival offered a stage to showcase students' talent and their national cultures. Serving as a bridge between cultures and enriching campus life, the Luojia Golden Autumn International Cultural Festival was yet again a complete success.
