On June 4th, Steve Maharey, Vice-Chancellor of Massey University, New Zealand led a delegation to Wuhan University(WHU) and signed a MOU with Wuhan University’s President Li Xiaohong. Two sides will develop cooperation in research programs, academic research, exchange of administrative staff and publications, etc. Executive President Feng Youmei attended the signing ceremony.
Li Xiaohong mentioned that the cooperation between two universities has lasted for 7 years with a strong momentum. WHU highly values this long-lasting friendship and hopes to further expand the cooperation fields.
Maharey thought two universities, both with long history and rich cultural foundation, become closer with each other. He welcomed students from WHU to pursue study in Massey University. Maharey also exchanged views with Li Xiaohong on development potential in network education development.
Massey University, founded in 1927, is the biggest public and comprehensive university in New Zealand. Since its establishment, it has earned the international reputation and become a world leading university with its outstanding international education and research. WHU established partnership with Massey University in 2006 and two sides have launched student exchange program.
