On October 24th, a delegation from University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE) in Italy paid its first visit to Wuhan University. The delegation was warmly welcomed by vice-president of Wuhan University Li Fei and staffs from other related departments. Two sides held a cordial talk in the meeting room of administrative building.
At the meeting, Li Fei gave a brief introduction about WHU including discipline advantages, students and faculties, international programs. He emphasized that two universities should play a key role in bilateral cooperation and exchange. And schools and professors should take initiative to communicate with the counterpart so as to develop cooperative programs with different modules.
Professor Sergio Paba pointed out that UNIMORE is a university with long history, wide range of disciplines and close ties with enterprise. He wished that extensive cooperation between two universities could start from the signing of MOU.
UNIMORE, founded in 1175, is one of the most prestigious universities in Italy in term of teaching and scientific research.
