Aix-Marseille University delegation visits Wuhan University

Sophie Chauvet, deputy vice-president for Life Sciences and Biology at Aix-Marseille University, led a delegation to Wuhan University (WHU) on Feb 25.

WHU Vice-president Yuan Yufeng welcomed the delegation. He highlighted WHU's strengths in medicine and life sciences, particularly its rapid progress in interdisciplinary research and the large pool of professionals with educational backgrounds in France. Yuan hoped this visit would strengthen cooperation between the two universities in these key areas.

Chauvet expressed her gratitude for WHU's hospitality and emphasized that her visit aimed to foster a deeper understanding of WHU and enhance academic exchanges and collaborations between research teams.

The delegation toured Taikang Medical School and discussed potential multi-level joint research initiatives in specialized fields with the school's leadership and experts.

Aix-Marseille University, a prestigious public research university and the largest in France, has enjoyed longstanding cooperative relations with WHU, including faculty exchanges and student mobility programs.
