This year's forum, themed "Interdisciplinary Innovation and Cooperation for Sustainable Water Development in the Global South", brought together over 100 experts and scholars from more than 20 universities and research institutions across China, Rwanda, Nigeria, and international organizations based in Africa.

Experts from various countries share their insights at the forum.

Scholars from institutions including Tsinghua University, WHU, and the University of Oxford shared cutting-edge research and practical insights on water resource management, artificial intelligence, climate change, and carbon reduction technologies.

WHU's State Key Laboratory of Water Resources Engineering and Management, the China-Africa Water Association, and the Sino-Africa Joint Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences signed a memorandum of understanding to deepen interdisciplinary cooperation and support talent development in water research under the Belt and Road Initiative.
