The 2025 Economics Symposium between the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Wuhan University (WHU) was held at WHU from March 21 to 23.

Scholars from prestigious institutions such as NUS, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Bocconi University, and leading domestic universities, including Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Zhejiang University, gathered to engage in in-depth discussions on microeconomics, macroeconomics, and applied economics.

During the symposium, four distinguished scholars, including Professor John Quah from NUS and Professor Jie Zhang from Chongqing University, delivered thought-provoking keynote speeches on topics such as "Comparative Statics with Adjustment Costs and the Le Chatelier Principle" and "Growth through Cycles with a Labor-Leisure Tradeoff."
