A Wuhan University (WHU) delegation attended the 2025 International Higher Education Expo in Cairo, Egypt, and the "Study in China" Education Exhibitions in Istanbul, Turkiye, from April 8 to 15.

The events attracted numerous students eager to study at WHU. The university's booth was incredibly popular, with some students expressing their intention to apply on the spot.
The expo featured nearly 100 universities from 15 countries, including top Chinese institutions such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. A total of 38 Chinese government scholarship institutions participated, drawing tens of thousands of students, educators, and parents. WHU's alumni in Egypt and Turkiye also supported the event.

During the visit to Egypt, the delegation met with local alumni and held in-depth discussions with Xu Yanhe, president of the Egypt-China Education and Culture Exchange Center, leading to an agreement on future collaborations.
In Turkiye, the delegation participated in a China-Turkiye university exchange meeting, attended presentations by Confucius Institute directors, and talked with various representatives to expand the university's international recruitment channels and cooperation platforms.
