Over 7,400 undergraduate and 9,800 graduate students arrived at Wuhan University (WHU) on Sept 1 and 2, marking the beginning of their academic journey.

Chairman of the university council Huang Taiyan, President Zhang Pingwen, and other university leaders visited welcome stations across campus to greet students and parents, thanking faculty and student volunteers for their support. They urged staff to ensure a streamlined process with warm services, so newcomers would feel welcome at the university.

Faculty prepared a variety of creative activities, themed welcome packages, and interactive programs tailored to their disciplines and cultures, giving new students a lively and heartfelt “first impression of Wuhan University”.
