Academic journal Data and Information Management (DIM), published by the School of Information Management at Wuhan University, has been indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) by Clarivate Analytics.
DIM, an open-access, interdisciplinary journal dedicated to the fields of data science and information management, has been recognized in several prestigious international databases and journal evaluation systems, such as EI, Scopus, DOAJ, FMS, and AMI.
The journal promotes cross-disciplinary innovation across information science, management science, computer science, and communication studies. It focuses on the key technologies and management issues involved in the data-driven processes of information collection, organization, analysis, retrieval, dissemination, and utilization.
Founded by Professor Ma Feicheng, a distinguished professor at Wuhan University, DIM is co-edited by Professor Lu Wei from Wuhan University and Professor Gary Marchionini from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Professor Shen Xiaoliang of Wuhan University serves as the executive editor. The editorial board features 95 esteemed scholars from 16 countries.
DIM's real-time CiteScore in the Scopus database has risen to 9.0.
