WHU hosts social simulation conference

The 2025 International Social Simulation Conference is held at Wuhan University.

Wuhan University recently held the 2025 International Social Simulation Conference, drawing over 100 experts and scholars from 15 countries and regions, including China, Canada, and Russia.

The keynote session featured distinguished speakers such as Professor Song Xiao from Beihang University, Honorary Professor Yun Bae Kim from Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea, and Associate Professor Ning Nan from the University of British Columbia in Canada.

They offered insights into a range of topics, including the development of key computer simulation technologies, agent-based comparative simulations, and multi-agent modeling for digital innovation.

The conference also featured three parallel forums, which delved into subjects such as the evolution of complex networks and game theory, large model-driven agent modeling, and the interplay between multimodal data and social behavior.
