University of Auckland delegation visits Wuhan University

A delegation from the University of Auckland (UoA), New Zealand, led by Michael Kingsley, dean of Science, recently visited Wuhan University (WHU).

Yuan Yufeng, vice-president of WHU, provided an overview of the university's history, academic disciplines, and educational strengths, emphasizing the alignment in educational philosophies and research directions between the two institutions.

Yuan highlighted that WHU and UoA have achieved significant progress in joint student training programs in fields such as pharmacy and computer science, and expressed hope for further expanding the depth and breadth of collaboration to support higher-quality development for both universities.

Kingsley emphasized that UoA values its collaborative programs with WHU and noted that the partnership is currently at a pivotal stage for advancing high-level cooperation.

UoA, established in 1883, is ranked 65th in the QS World University Rankings and 152nd in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
