WHU students attend Youth Co:Lab Summit 2026

July 14, 2026

Ten students from Wuhan University's School of Law and School of Resources and Environmental Sciences participated in the Youth Co:Lab Summit 2026 from June 29 to 30 in Bangkok, Thailand, engaging in exchanges with young scholars and industry leaders from across the Asia-Pacific region.

The students took part in activities at the Campus Inno-Hive, an innovation hub for Asia-Pacific youth students, as well as two high-level dialogues on building scalable entrepreneurial systems and multi-stakeholder entrepreneurial ecosystems.

They also observed over 10 youth social enterprise projects at the Demo Day, engaging with young entrepreneurs, university peers, industry mentors, and UN staff members from across the Asia-Pacific, building a cross-national innovation network.

The students said the event had allowed them to experience the global wave of youth innovation firsthand and to understand the dual role of youth as both policy participants and drivers of social change.

They plan to integrate the resources from the summit exchanges, utilize campus innovation platforms, and focus on green transformation and inclusive development to conduct practical explorations.

Youth Co:Lab, launched in 2017 through a collaboration between the UNDP and the Citi Foundation, is an initiative aimed at empowering youth across the Asia-Pacific. It has reached 28 countries and regions over the past decade, supporting and empowering more than 48,000 young entrepreneurs.
