A delegation from Wuhan University (WHU) recently visited Vietnam to participate in the second China-Vietnam Higher Education Dialogue on Journalism and Communication, held from Dec 2 to 6 in Hue.
The delegation discussed with the Academy of Journalism and Communication under the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. They proposed three key initiatives to deepen cultural exchange and collaboration in higher education between China and Vietnam.
These initiatives include the establishment of a youth cultural exchange platform, the implementation of a faculty exchange program, and the creation of a youth dialogue mechanism.
Professor Ji Li from WHU's School of Journalism and Communication, along with scholars from Chinese and Vietnamese universities, participated in discussions focusing on discipline development, theoretical innovation, and educational practices.
The delegation also explored practical cooperation opportunities in areas such as student exchanges, faculty visits, collaborative research, and joint academic activities.
The event is a vital exchange platform for journalism and communication educators from both countries, aiming to implement key agreements reached by the top leaders of China and Vietnam.
The Academy of Journalism and Communication is a prominent educational and research institution in Vietnam, renowned for cultivating high-level talent and serving as a think tank for journalism and communication.
