The newly renovated History Museum, located within the Yingding Old Library of Wuhan University, reopened to the public on November 13, 2023.

Its first floor serves as the venue for the "Luojia Forum", while the basement, fourth, and fifth floors are dedicated to historical exhibits, organized around the themes of "Roots, Spirit, and Dreams". These themes are showcased in three sections: "A Century of Glory", "Shining Stars", and "Renewed Splendor".

The museum houses over 1,100 valuable historical photographs, 600 archival documents and artifacts, more than 50 detailed informational charts, and over 10 sets of multimedia video and audio displays. The exhibits are arranged chronologically, using key events and milestones to emphasize significant historical moments, the enduring spirit of Wuhan University, and the important role of the university in the contemporary era.
