The "Cherry Blossoms and Spring Melodies" Lawn Music Festival, hosted by four student unions at Wuhan University (WHU) on April 12, drew to a harmonious close under the shimmering stars. The evening breeze carried the scent of cherry blossoms, blending with the music to create a memorable experience for all.

The whisper of cherry blossoms

The festival kicked off with Hua Ying Wei Luo 4.0 and Friday Thoughts, where upbeat melodies captured the spring romance at WHU. The choir's performance of Birds Say symbolized freedom, with their voices representing the spirit of the students.

Time's narrative  

Suzhou River & Murong Xue met the northern charm of Spring Snow, with folk guitar and traditional opera blending across time. Whale Like a Lone Island and Light Years Away evoked deep emotional connections, exploring universal themes of self and love.

A celebration of life

Fang's Words and Unnamed People highlighted the beauty of ordinary stories, while the lively ukulele tunes of Little Hands Hold Big Hands and Lucky Gate brought energy to the festival. The Puppet merged ancient art with modern arrangements, while Excuse Me took listeners on a timeless journey.

A symphony under the stars  

The lullaby Curved Moon brought the night to a close, followed by the vibrant Me and the Sky and the cosmic dance of Up. Like the Wind filled the air, and the song Lilian became the stars, bringing the night to a close with a golden touch.

The festival was a beautiful celebration of music, youth, and nature, leaving lasting memories for all.
