Donate
The Wuhan University Education and Development Foundation was established in 1995.
The foundation promotes the excellent traditions of Wuhan University, strengthens the connections between the university, its alumni, and various sectors of society, seeks donations from alumni and the public, promotes the development of education, and improves the quality and level of education while contributing to social welfare.
The foundation accepts donations from alumni at home and abroad, as well as from various sectors of society, to support the development of Wuhan University's educational undertakings. This includes improving teaching facilities, rewarding outstanding students and teachers, funding basic research, teaching research, and publication of works, as well as supporting faculty members for overseas study, participation in international academic collaborations, and attending international academic conferences.
Donation process:
1. Communication of donation intentions
The donor and recipient discuss and confirm the donation project, its purpose, the benefiting unit or group, and the responsible unit for the donation project.
2. Project establishment
The responsible unit for the donation project submits a project application on the "Wuhan University Donation Fund Management System". This includes the project name, contact person, responsible personnel information, project purpose, and management plan. The project is officially established upon approval via the system's review process.
3. Qualification and legitimacy review
4. Drafting, approval, and signing of the donation agreement
The donor and recipient collaboratively draft and confirm the terms of the agreement. The agreement is reviewed by the foundation's secretariat. Once signed, copies of the agreement are archived by all signing parties.
5. Issuance of donation receipt and certificate
Upon receipt of the donated funds, the foundation issues a public welfare donation receipt and a donation certificate to the donor.
6. Implementation of donation projects
The responsible unit formulates a project management plan based on the donation agreement and project application. It establishes a decision-making body for project management and organizes the project's implementation in line with the donation agreement and management plan. The unit assumes responsibility for the quality and effectiveness of the project's execution.
7. Feedback on project implementation
The responsible unit provides the foundation and donor with annual or requested updates on the project's financial details, progress, and outcomes.
