On March 29, 2021, the annual Cup of Torch volleyball game on campus held its final in the Zall Stadium after over 170 games in the past few weeks.

The male final saw students from the School of Electronic Information compete against the School of Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering, and the female final was decided between the School of Electronic Information and the School of Information Management. The finals drew lots of students and teachers who came to watch and cheer

The male champions from the School of Electronic Information and the female champions from the School of Information Management, thrashed their rivals 3-0. Most Valuable Players were awarded to Tianyuan Dai from the School of Electronic Information and Yuqi Xia from the School of Information Management, respectively.
