EMS Team Won the Third Place in the Fifth Annual Wayne State Supply Chain Case Competition
The fifth annual Wayne State Supply Chain Case Competition supported by General Motors was held in Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center from October 8 – 11.
A Delegation headed by Prof Fenghua from the Department of Business Administration, School of Economics and Management has participated in the competition and achieved the third place in the contest.
The competition attracted 22 university teams. In addition to top teams from across the U.S., this year’s competition includes three international teams from China, Mexico and Poland.
The program exposed students to the issues and challenges involved in producing leading technology vehicles through a case study. They examined topics such as component purchasing strategy, global vs. domestic sourcing, and risk management.
