On October 16, the 34th Golden Autumn Chorus Competition of Wuhan University kicked off as night fell. The seats at Meiyuan Playground were all occupied, and the audience eagerly anticipated the show. Twenty-four participating teams were ready to give a remarkable choral performance.

Qu Wenqian, the deputy secretary of the CPC Committee of Wuhan University, received the Golden Autumn Cup - the highest award of the Golden Autumn Festival - from the student representative of the School of Law and handed it over to the representative of the organizing committee of the Golden Autumn Festival. He then declared the opening of this festival.

Following the performances of all teams, the conclusion of the Golden Autumn Chorus Competition of Wuhan University also signaled the beginning of the another wonderful golden autumn at WHU.
