on the afternoon of June 9th, the award ceremony of the 3th Precursor Cup was held in academic report hall successfully, which was used to award the students who are versed in metallographic skills. Deputy secretary Wang Siming, manager Cheng Shuguang, director Mei Qingsong, deputy director Guo Jialing, and the judges, namely Li Chaozhi, Li Zhenggang, and Yu Yang attended the ceremony and presented the trophies and certificate of merit to the award winners.

At the start of the ceremony, secretary Wang thanked the manager of Wuhan Precursor Technical Company for his supporting to the competition. Thereafter, secretary Wang pointed out that academic competitions are important chances which help students develop innovation ability and professional capacity. Thanks to teachers and students’ hard work, the competition has been held successfully. Finally, he congratulated the students who went into training beforehand on their success.

Manager Cheng said that the company has built a long cooperative relationship with department of materials engineering in Wuhan University, and the company provided the racing wares for the competition. He believed that the students could make great achievements as they used to.

At the end of the ceremony, Mei Qingsong said that the development of the competition was contingent on Wuhan Precursor Technical Company’s support, teachers’ devotion and students’ positive attendance. He hoped that the competition could get better and better as the years rolled by and wished students the best of luck!
