(Reporter: Siyuan Nie)At 6:30 p.m., September 24, a lantern riddle show of Mid-Autumn festival was held at the entrance of the Engineering Department Stadium. This activity was undertaken by department of literature and art in the student union of our school with quite a few students actively involving in.

The related staff had already begun the intense preparatory work at six o’clock. As they set the scene, some students came to the scene one after the other to add a lot of boisterous atmosphere.

There had already gathered many students before this show official started. They stood next to sheets of paper filled with riddles, racking their brains and discussing answers of the riddles. Shortly afterwards, there were some students getting answers and writing them down, getting ready to exchange gifts.

As time went on, there were fewer and fewer lantern riddles left, and those rests were getting harder and harder. Students vehemently exchanged their ideas and actively explored the answer. On this Mid-Autumn festival, students came from all corners of the country, leaving their hometown to attend school, but on account of such activity which greatly closes the distance between students, they do not feel lonely.

With happy laughter and cheerful voices, this lantern riddle show was over. Students left with their gifts and a warm memory of this happy Mid-Autumn festival. This activity celebrated the Mid-Autumn festival and at the same time, improved the feelings and promoted the friendship between the students.
