(Reporter: Kanghua Yang) At 9:30 p.m. on the evening of December 7th, "Truth Seeking" reading exchange meeting was held in the Room five-one-nine of the 5th dormitory. The atmosphere of the reading exchange meeting was relaxed and pleasant in the form of tea party, in which everyone expressed their own ideas and talked about current affairs by eating snacks, and they all learned a lot from each other.
First of all, Haobing Chen, president of the research association made a brief introduction of this meeting, and then members began to share their reading experiences one by one. The atmosphere became more lively and relaxed with these vivid stories.
It's worth mentioning that the list of the recommended books in this reading exchange meeting is quite different from the previous ones. Compared with the booking list in previous years emphasizing on theoretical learning, this book list pays more attention on hobbies and interests. Everyone took out their favorite and most familiar books to share with others, which not only reflected the spirit of sharing, but also expressed the students’ expectation and passion for the reading exchange meeting.
In the end, Junjie Chen made a short summary and pointed out the advantages and disadvantages about the meeting. Through this meaningful activity, more books will be read by more students with immense zeal. Hoping that the reading exchange meeting’s spirit can be inherited and more people can join in the meeting next time.
