(Reporter: Jiyang Shen, Siyuan Nie) The final exam is coming, almost every student has started a hard review. In addition to striving to acquire knowledge, our students should also take a proper rest in order to gain a balance between study and entertainment as well as a pleasant state of mind. After all, life is more than just a temporary struggle, but also poetry and distance.
On the afternoon of June 2nd, after reviewing in the library for a long time, some students organized a small activity that they went to the East Lake to fly kites in order to release the pressure. The warm setting sun, fresh breeze as well as the moist air made it a very suitable place to fly kites. Students, sitting on the edge of the East Lake and unfolding the kites, were deeply impressed by the beautiful landscape. Rising slowly through the breeze of the early summer, these wind elves temporarily took away these students’ anxiety of the final exam.
Studying in Wuhan University, knowledge learning and personal improvement have always been valued by the majority of students, however, how to properly control learning and entertainment in the free atmosphere of the university has become a problem which many college students need to solve first. Many students are more inclined to have more entertainments in peacetime and only put a short-term and large energy to deal with the end of the paper work or review before the last week of final exam and during that period, they burn the midnight oil frequently. We cannot deny that such method is efficient to some certain extents, nevertheless, it will cause a great psychological and physical burden, making students have a bigger risk to suffer the negative emotions, even psychological problems and some paroxysmal diseases.
Therefore, due to the university period is a learning stage which paying more attention to personal consciousness, we strongly suggest that students should use their free time wisely and balance the learning and entertainment in the normal life which can not only reduce the learning pressure before the end of the period, but also conducive to the comprehensive development of interpersonal relationships, personal growth and future development.
